Scrapbooking For Juvenile Diabetes

On October 1st we hosted our fifth annual fall "Crop For A Cure" to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Twenty-eight scrapbookers, card makers, and jewelry makers spent twelve hours "crafting," eating, and socializing! We raised $1273.00!!!
It was so much fun seeing all the wonderful scrapbook pages being created!
During the day we also gave away a door prize every hour. Many generous people donated items for our giveaways.
Many thanks to Allison Beaudry for being our vendor, Creative Memories. 10 % of her sales were donated to JDRF.
Our three end of the evening grand prize winners were Vickie Oyer, Brenda Geiman, and Muriel Tukey. Congratulations ladies!
So many area businesses helped make our event a success: TGI Friday, Central Presbyterian Church, Giant Foods, Food Lion, Subway Sandwiches and Salads of Chambersburg, Fuddruckers, and Tastefully Simple. Thank you to everyone who attended! Our next crop will be our Love Crop, February 18, 2012.
